Summative assessment on Friday 2/23/18
We will have a summative assessment on physical and chemical changes this Friday. Be sure you understand the following concepts:

• Water phase changes
• Water changes phase (solid, liquid, gas) because of temperature changes, but is still H2O. It's a physical change.
• Separating a mixture is a physical change.
• Example of chemical changes and physical changes.
• The main point is this: In a chemical change, a new substance is formed. (In other words, the atoms of the substance separate and then reattach to different atoms to make different chemicals.)
