Box Tops For Education
Parents and Students,
Please help our school earn extra dollars by collecting Box Tops. The more you bring in the better! And...there is now an APP for that too. Install the app, select MBES as our school, shop, scan the receipt, and BAM we get 2 and 3 times the amount of points for those items. The app is in addition to those you cut out and send in, not a replacement...so we get to double dip with the app. Whoo hoo!

• If you have not turned in your $5 donation for your agenda, please do so as soon as you can if possible. We will be using these throughout the year for projects, expectation cards, login information, and other assignments. 
• If you did not finish making your Destiny Reading List in the Library this morning, try logging in and completing it. Remember to use your AR username and password.
• In your SS folder please respond to the following question. Responses are due Friday 9/1/17.
• Today in SS we watched two short videos that depicted two ways of life around the time of the Civil War. Please discuss these two ways of life. What were some of the ways the videos did a good job of depicting these two sides? What did you feel could have been done (explained) better? What in the videos taught you something new about this time period? After watching these two videos what are some questions you have now about this time period?
• Cell Projects Due 9/8/17. These will be completed at school in partners. Students need to bring in recyclable materials to use for this project.
• DAR Essay due 10/27. More info to come.
