- BLOCK 3/4 ONLY - Read through chapter 17 (page 130) by Thursday. Continue "Here's An Example" sheet. It is due at the end of the novel.
- Block 1/2 Summary of one story from Great Depression Book due Friday. Use page 18 in your Reader's Notebook as a guide on how to write a good summary.
- Log Time / Answer questions. You need 4 questions answered and 600 minutes logged by Feb 29th.
- Practice Your Typing Skills using the link on the blog. Remember this is tested once a month.
- Feb. 5th - Young Georgia Author's Writing Competition Typed (Times New Roman Font/12 point font/double spaced) Piece Due.
- Students are required to submit one piece of original typed writing. It can be a poem, a short story, a short screenplay, etc. Do not put name on actual paper. Put name on sticky note and attach to paper. Title can be up to 16 font.
- Moby Max Quizzes due by Friday.

- Geography and 20's, 30's and WWI Summative Tests Friday.

- Young Georgia Author's Writing is due Friday. We have been discussing this in class, and spent the entire class period working on it today. Each student has a google document they should be editing/revising for this assignment. It can be a poem, a short story, a short screenplay, etc. This document should be shared or printed and turned in by Friday, without the student's name listed on the writing.
- Greek/Latin Week 16 Quiz on Friday.
- WWI, 1920s, 1930s Summative on Friday. Study all notes/graphic organizers posted in the SS Notes tab above.
