• War Horse Summative Test over all chapters Friday 2/12/16. Please make sure to use the vocab sheet when studying. Also the following pages in your Reader's Notebook should be reviewed. Many of the questions on the test require you to have the background knowledge of these terms and concepts.

• Block 1/2 Read to page 85 in A Long Way From Chicago by Thursday.

• Complete "Here's and Example" sheet by end of novel.

• Complete chapter summary in Reader's Notebook for Day of Judgement by tomorrow.

• Log Time / Answer questions.  You need 4 questions answered and 600 minutes logged by Feb 29th.

• Practice Your Typing Skills using the link on the blog. Remember this is tested once a month.

• Greek and Latin Unit 16 Quiz Friday.

• Geography Retest Friday 2/12/16. Use the map notes in your SS folder to help you study.

• Finish Moby Max tests (18, 17, 9) by Friday if you did not complete in class.

•  Rough Draft (use checklist) due Friday 2/12/16. 

• Argumentative/Opinion Writing due Next Friday 2/19/16. Use the following (in your writing folder) to help you construct a strong argument paper:
• Argument Writing Checklist
• Green Pro and Con sheet
• Three resource articles on the pros and cons of selling chocolate milk at school
• Be sure to add examples for your reasoning and cite expert text
