- Students have had numerous opportunities to work on this at school and should be in the final stages of editing. Just in case, they will be given additional time on Jan. 8th for final touches. Students may work on this at home at well.
Jan. 15th - CPA Presentation/Speech with Posters (to be presented in your ELA block)
- Students will be working on making note cards for their speech in class on both Jan. 7th and Jan. 8th. Posters will need to be made at home. They will practice giving their speech in class on Jan. 12th while using their posters. However, students are encouraged to practice their speeches at home with their posters too. Practice makes perfect:)
Jan. 19th - County CPA Competition at NOHS (this is optional - but highly encouraged)
- Transportation to the after school event will be provided by 4H (a note from home is required). Parents will need to pick up their student following the event at NOHS. More information on this to follow.
Feb. 5th - Young Georgia Author's Writing Competition Typed Piece Due
- Students are required to submit one piece of original typed writing. It can be a poem, a short story, a short screenplay, etc.
