Thomas Block 1/2:

• The River Between Us Writing Activity (due Friday): At the end of the story, we learn Calinda chose to leave Grand Tower for California. Imagine you are Calinda writing a letter to Delphine and the Pruitts. Describe your journey westward and discuss what you are doing in California. Be sure to mention what you miss most about Illinois and what you like most about the West. 

• Log minutes/answer one question in Who's Reading.

• Noun Quiz on Friday.

• Reconstruction Quiz on Friday.

Thomas Block 3/4:

• Log minutes/answer one question in Who's Reading.

• Noun Quiz on Friday.

• Reconstruction Quiz on Friday.

Warren Block 1/2:

• Read Chapter 1 by tomorrow in Where the Red Fern Grows (new class novel study). 

• Log Time / Answer 1 question on Who's Reading by Friday. 
• Who's Reading Goal Check on Wed. 
• Looking for at least 6 questions answered total (2 for August and 4 for September) and 800 minutes recorded (200 for August and 600 for Sept). I am not expecting as much for August since we got a late start at the beginning of the year. But each month from September on should have a total of at least 600 min. 

• Greek and Latin Unit 6 quiz Friday.

• Verb Quiz Friday?  
• Use Verb notes to study in Eng. Folder. 
• We are working toward finishing this verb unit by Wednesday. If so, we will quiz on Friday. Watch the blog for updates:)

Argo- Math

Block 1, 2 and 4- spend at least 20 minutes on Moby Max (Fact Master).  Record date and results on your Goal Setting Sheet

Block 3- Math Playground- fractions.  Remember to prepare your recording sheet (you may send through Google docs).
