Wow!!!! What a wonderfully smooth first day back! It was a very productive day filled with lots of information that we hope your child came home and shared with you:) Today we covered our Positive Learning Procedures (you will see these posted all over the school and in our classrooms), discussed homeroom expectations, visited with old and new friends, paid a visit to the media center for more information, and organized all our supplies. Whew, I know I for one am worn out:)
Tomorrow we plan on having another busy day filled with more Positive Learning Procedures, the 5th grade job survey, the fall MAP Reading test, a writing pretest, and lots of get to know you time with our homeroom teachers as well as our Block 1 teachers.
Homework for Students and Parents:
All students need to access the blog and explore it a bit. We recommend both students and parents "subscribe/follow" the blog. There is place on the right hand side of this post that allows you to do this. This way you all will have instant notifications of updates to the blog.
Parents please remember to send in a transportation notification if there is a change in how your child will get home. Also, we are asking for a $5.00 donation to cover the cost of the agendas. Make checks out to MBES.
