Today we used Glo Germ. A plastic powder that glows under UV light. Everyone wiped it all over their hands and then went to the restroom to wash their hands. Then I checked everyone with a UV flashlight. Wow, it was an eye-opener. Your kids got to see what happens if you don't use soap. They also saw what parts of their hands they were good at cleaning, but most importantly the areas they missed. It was a good activity but it grossed a lot of the kids out.
Be sure to ask them how well they did and if they learned anything about themselves.
