WARREN:

We will be having our UGA visitors back on Friday to lead us in a really cool experiment with bacteria. Please click on this Sign Up link to see if their is anything that is still needed that you could possibly donate. This is going to be one tasty experiment:)

Time in class is also being given to complete these items.

• Complete Reading Placement test and Math Placement test in Moby Max by Thursday.
• Add to thank you notes for Yee and Avid in Google Classroom Homeroom by Friday.

• Greek and Latin Unit #2 Quiz Next Tuesday (20th).
• SS Events Leading Up To Civil War Quiz Friday.
• Preposition Quiz Friday.
• Partial Quotient Quiz Tuesday of next week. Not quite ready:)
• Cells Project - Be collecting recyclable materials from home to use in your project. Bring recyclable materials to school in a labeled bag. The majority of this project will be completed at school in pairs and groups.

Blocks 1&2- GM page 43 #'s 1-6 

Blocks 3&4- 20 minutes on ixl.com- please concentrate on subtraction with regrouping or division.  

Reminder for Science- all blocks!  We're working through our unit on microorganisms.  We'd like to create some yummy bacteria to eat!  Please consider donating an item or two for our in-class project.  The link for Sign-up Genius is below.  Thank you!!

WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 12-16

• Read 30 minutes/night, 5 nights/week. This should be completed by Sunday. Log minutes in your Novel Study notebook reading log. Please make sure you are reading a book on your level! 

• Complete 45 minutes of practice in IXL language arts. The topics to work in this week are: context clues and greek/latin roots

• Events Leading Up To The Civil War Quiz on FRIDAY.
• Greek/Latin Roots Quiz #2 on FRIDAY. Study the packet completed in class!
• Elements of a Story Quiz on FRIDAY.
