THOMAS HOMEWORK

WEEK OF AUGUST 22- 26

• Read 30 minutes/5 nights this week (through Sunday.) You should keep track of this in your Novel Study Notebook Reading Log.  This should be a novel of your choice on your Lexile level. If you are unsure of a book's Lexile level, please visit www.lexile.com. At this site, you can search for a book's Lexile level. 

• Complete 45 minutes of IXL language arts practice by Friday. Please practice in the following areas: main idea and sensory details.

• Complete the Terabithia drawing explained in class. Using the large paper given out in class, design/draw your own magical land of Terabithia. Please remember to include a rope swing, a castle, and lots of color. Be creative and imaginative! 

• Quizzes on Friday: Bill of Rights and Bridge to Terabithia.
• Please study the yellow workbook (page 111) for Bill of Rights as well as the handout from class. (See the Social Studies Notes tab for the handout.)
• For Bridge to Terabithia, you can study information in the Novel Study notebook. We will also review for this quiz in class. It will be a comprehension quiz of the chapters we have read thus far.
